me and abby ordered the same thing, spaghetti carbonara! too dry for me, i like carbonara with a lil bit of sauce.

Albeit it’s a lil too expensive, the food there are just average…but the service is nice! People there are so friendly, i love it. I think i would return to there again, not because of the food but the people, their friendliness and passion really makes you feeling good and happy.

i love the interior design, white tone, light blue…empty bird case. So simple, sweet and romantic.

Strawberry cheesecake. Lose secret recipe abit, for me la. First few scoop you will think that it’s so nice and tasty, but after that, you will start to get bored with the taste. ==

nom nom nom. Look at that ! the cheese is melting on top of the tamago, with some chicken cubes and onion…perfecto! Like it so much. and the melting cheese on top is so similar like the curry hamburger in Otomen.

Deep fried chicken sticks. It just like satay, just it deep fried and squeeze some mayo and teriyaki sauce.

this is japanese salad. I love the dressing, a lil bit of sour, not too sweet and salty. It is the best salad for hot weather day. :]

Ta-daaaa. fishballs, seafood tofu, fish fillet and gyoza. A bowl full of ‘ho liao’. O.O Like all the ho liao inside, it’s like eating yong tau foo. Many ingredients for us to choose. =) But, i don’t like the soup seriously, sweet and sour, not spicy at all. If you are a tom yam lover, you won’t like it. If you can’t eat spicy food, here is the best tom yam for you.

Cut the crap, just now, ya, JUST NOW! i went to paya terubong to find my son for dinner. Drove all the way from jelutong to paya terubong then all the way up to somewhere near Penang hill to have our dinner. Asia Cafe was our destination!

 And so, I ordered McValue Lunch, since it’s 12-3, so I got a very cheap price… Nah I was just kidding, the guy didn’t let me buy for that price. Intead he introduced me the new products, Extra Big and Double Burger, or something like that. Lol, I was here for Ice-cream only, not lunch. Thanks.

 I asked him for a cup of plain water, as after ice-cream normally you’ll feel thirsty. He said water need money, I said anything free of charge, he said, “well ya, I can give you a cup.” Gosh, what am I to do with an empty cup if you’re not going to give me water??

The Menu

Actually we have already went there yesterday. But since it was lunch time, the place was so crowded and we decided not to eat there for the day. Today we went back again on 2 something and after we made reservation to make sure that this lunch date is a pleasant and sumptious ones.

So we went back again today. Why do we love Harvest In cafe so much, well, the price is rather cheap for a restaurant like this, the Chef’s Special Chicken Chop is only RM7.90 and no extra tax or service charge. It’s RM7.90 and you get your hands on a delicious chicken chop. Besides that, there are a lot of choices besides western food, there are pasta, spaghetti, rice, noodles, steak and many more. I’ve went there twice, first time with Nicholas, Chien Chern, Tee Jin, Yan Duan, Alvin, Chin Lai and Chen Yuan. I tried the Koh Samui Chicken and, well yea, I do feel like swimming in Koh Samui. Haha.

 This is Xiu Xin, my dear classmate. He’s very smart, he wants to be a doctor, but he said he wanna go Matriculation because he has got no money. So I guess this will be the last time I’ll have lunch with him at Harvest In. And I just realise that, with his silhouette against the sunlight behind him, he looks so saint and brilliant.

So, where have I went to…? I went to search for food in Penang. This one > I think a lot of people know about it already, but I’d still want to write about it because it really is economical and delicious =)

It’s not too dry, the mee is very soft, it tastes just nice and it’s very cheap, only RM1.20 each.

And now, besides Lebuh Tye Sin, I have another good place to go. Penang Union High School’s Canteen. On one beautiful day, a few classmates and I went there under Min Sheng’s suggestion. They said the fried mee there is quite delicious. Well, actually outsiders are not allowed to go in Union High School’s compound, not to say the canteen. But for the sake of my readers, I’ve sneaked in through various means and so I got the chance to capture, how the mee look like. I think after this, I’d get blacklisted and can never go in again. LOL

Therefore, since outsiders are strictly not allowed to go in and have lunch in the canteen for some delicious treat, then you guys will have to wait for Canteen Day, that the school will be open to outsiders to try the food in their canteen. Too bad it only happens once in a year. So, be patience =)

Next we’re moving on to somewhere at Lebuh Pantai, or should I say, Jetty there. One of Penang’s well-known attraction, the Clan Bridge along Jetty, registered with UNESCO. There, I think a lot of things to eat, I’ve tried one, and it’s delicious.

Yiphing, Tom Yam Mee!

And I think when Yiphing’s back, I’ll bring her to try Tom Yam Mee, since its her favourite. Well but this is not really that delicious, just, acceptable. I give 3.8/5 for it. It smells nice but it’s not spicy enough. And the smell and scent of tom yam is not too strong. However, the fish slices given are so big. It’s very tasty, the fish.

pToday was the last day for Sushi King’s promotion, RM2 bonanza or something like that. CC went there with Tee Jin on Tuesday without calling me. So I decided to go and try with Sherreen. We went to e-gate. It was quite crowded and I que up for around 20 minutes to be seated.

Although it’s RM2 for every plate, but I think it’s still quite expensive. And they don’t put much salmon, Unagi and tempura because it’s expensive. Normally they put a lot of cheap Tuna Riceballand other vegetable riceball.

And finally, the last thing I want to introduce is Shilin Snack. This stall was introduced to me by Nicholas Chan back in 2 years ago. That time when we were still young, we don’t have a lot to spend. So I can still remember, after Redbox, each of us has only like RM8 or Rm10 and we were so hungry. So, Nicholas led us to Shilin in Gurney. The XXL Crispy Chicken costs RM5.90 and the size is quite  big. It’s quite worth it. Now it’s RM6 and the chicken become smaller, due to economic pressure gua. LOL.

And then we walked past this International School. Lol, the field is larger than the building itself. So I was thinking, if only I’m rich, I’d come here for my primary education, Han Chiang for my secondary education, then go to Taylor’s AUP, then fly to US. But whatever, It’s always a dream. Only if I were rich, or I’m a genius, or I have enough confidence, or I’m determined or I’m hardworking enough. Nope sorry, I ain’t one of these.

Although some of the works are really nice, but as Nicholas said, since it is a Graduation Exhibition, everything is going to be nice, it doesn’t really matter what students or which school. So, congratulations =)

So after the exhibition, Chien Chern came all the way down from Inti to have dinner with me. I rendered him my service as a chauffeur and drove him to search for place for our dinner. As usual, we’re so picky that we searched at least 3 places before we can finally decide what we wanted to eat. After we discussed and search a few restaurants and hawker stalls, we finally arrived at a compromise, which we decided to eat at a Hong Kong Style restaurant hidden in a secluded part of One-Stop.

After assuaging our pangs of hunger, it’s time to relax our mind. After all it’s Friday and I deem that we should dispose our brain after using it for one week, as what Reflux92 said. So we went to CS-2 opposite of Pu Ti to spend one hour there. We finish the hardest part which we took 3 hours to play with Raykee & Nick in 9 minutes. We finish another map which took CC, Nick and Zez 50 minutes in less than 40 minutes. Congratulate us, we don’t even need first aid. LOL
