Once reached, we started partying and enjoying free flow. This year, there are added features of the events such as RFID wristband, where you can play games, or take picture, and later on tag yourself with the wristband in Facebook. There’s a special booth of Hennessy Slice Ninja, which resembles the well-known Fruit Ninja, one of I-Phone Apps. Winner or the person with highest score will be able to walk away with a bottle of Hennessy VSOP at the end of the night.

Hennessy Artistry and The New Logo

After a long wait, the country most talked about and most looked forward event is back for the first time in the year. Hennessy Artistry will be kick-starting its 2011 series in Penang atVoodoo, Upper Penang Road on April 28, and then head back down to Klang Valley in The Opera, Sunway Pyramid two days later on April 30.

Last year I’ve been to Hennessy Artistry myself and it is until now, one of the best event I’ve ever attended. With all it’s free flow of drinks, interesting interacting events going on, you’ll never feel left out in the town’s hottest party. So I’ll be looking forward to this year’s Hennessy Artistry in Opera.

And this time, the whole Hennessy Artistry experience is back with even more for us. With it’s new logo, brand new Facebook page at www.h-artistry.com.my/facebook, and a new interactive Hennessy Mixing Zone, it is promised to be the best event of the year that you’ll attend!

Party-goers coming into the party this year will receive a new radio-frequency identification (RFID) wristband that allows them to log on to their respective Facebook accounts and automatically post their activities as status updates whenever they scan their wristbands onto a RFID reader located at each Hennessy Mixing booth.

In addition, guests can also tag themselves on Facebook fan page using their RFID wristband after photos of guests taken at the Hennessy Interactive Photowall is uploaded onto Hennessy Artistry’s official Facebook fan page at www.h-artistry.com.my/facebook.

While in the club, both Voodoo and The Opera will feature a new look providing guests with a refreshed experience and the much loved Hennessy bars that will be serving delectable concoctions of Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger, and Hennessy Citrus.

On the music front, Australian electro/house duo, Vandalism which comprises of DJ/Producer Andy Van (previously of Madison Avenue fame) and vocalist/songwriter Cassie Van, Kyoto Protocol and Miss Eva T and DJ Lizz, forming Spinderella will be conquering the stage with their bold and electrifying sense of style and music.

Hennessy Artistry ‘The Global Art of Mixing’ parties also takes place in some of the largest cities around the world which includes New York, Shanghai, Taipei, and Los Angeles. Among some of the big names who have performed at these international parties includes Ciara, The Roots, Mike Posner, Alexandra Burke, Harlem Yu, Jay Chou, Jacky Cheung, and Sammi Cheng. The parties in Malaysia have also been nothing short of impressive. Locally, the event has in the past, featured a host of star-studded performers such as Flo-Rida, Kardinal Offishall, Shayne Ward, Boys Like Girls, The Ying Yang Twins, Da Mouth, and many others.

Love alive is a concert that raise funds for National Cancer Society of Malaysia, Penang Branch and to educate the youth regarding breast cancer. The concert was organised by Penang Rotaract Club. Chaiwei and i went to the concert on the 24th October. LOL. i know it was quite long long ago but so sorry lar, i am so busy lately. == (always the same reason… = =)

We actually went to library before that. You see, i am such a good girl, so guai go to library after exam. HAHAHA.

yeah, lastly, end this post with my photo. This is what my hairstyle look like before i had my hair cut. == Now i don’t have a long fringe like the photo above. I have the so called ‘flat-head’, short short fringe. LOL. it’s actually cute but seems like nobody knows how to appreciate the beauty of my fringe. wtf. == But i’m going to let it grows and become long again cause there are so many pimples growing on my forehead. Sad la wei. =\

So, where have I went to…? I went to search for food in Penang. This one > I think a lot of people know about it already, but I’d still want to write about it because it really is economical and delicious =)

And now, besides Lebuh Tye Sin, I have another good place to go. Penang Union High School’s Canteen. On one beautiful day, a few classmates and I went there under Min Sheng’s suggestion. They said the fried mee there is quite delicious. Well, actually outsiders are not allowed to go in Union High School’s compound, not to say the canteen. But for the sake of my readers, I’ve sneaked in through various means and so I got the chance to capture, how the mee look like. I think after this, I’d get blacklisted and can never go in again. LOL

Therefore, since outsiders are strictly not allowed to go in and have lunch in the canteen for some delicious treat, then you guys will have to wait for Canteen Day, that the school will be open to outsiders to try the food in their canteen. Too bad it only happens once in a year. So, be patience =)

Next we’re moving on to somewhere at Lebuh Pantai, or should I say, Jetty there. One of Penang’s well-known attraction, the Clan Bridge along Jetty, registered with UNESCO. There, I think a lot of things to eat, I’ve tried one, and it’s delicious.

Yiphing, Tom Yam Mee!

And I think when Yiphing’s back, I’ll bring her to try Tom Yam Mee, since its her favourite. Well but this is not really that delicious, just, acceptable. I give 3.8/5 for it. It smells nice but it’s not spicy enough. And the smell and scent of tom yam is not too strong. However, the fish slices given are so big. It’s very tasty, the fish.

pToday was the last day for Sushi King’s promotion, RM2 bonanza or something like that. CC went there with Tee Jin on Tuesday without calling me. So I decided to go and try with Sherreen. We went to e-gate. It was quite crowded and I que up for around 20 minutes to be seated.

Although it’s RM2 for every plate, but I think it’s still quite expensive. And they don’t put much salmon, Unagi and tempura because it’s expensive. Normally they put a lot of cheap Tuna Riceballand other vegetable riceball.

And finally, the last thing I want to introduce is Shilin Snack. This stall was introduced to me by Nicholas Chan back in 2 years ago. That time when we were still young, we don’t have a lot to spend. So I can still remember, after Redbox, each of us has only like RM8 or Rm10 and we were so hungry. So, Nicholas led us to Shilin in Gurney. The XXL Crispy Chicken costs RM5.90 and the size is quite  big. It’s quite worth it. Now it’s RM6 and the chicken become smaller, due to economic pressure gua. LOL.

Seriously on that day it was extremely crowded. The smoke were so thick and it irritate not only my eyes but my respiratory organs too. And to me it seems to resemble the features of apparitions. Besides that, I also put on earrings spontaneously on that day because there were a stall there. May be, just may be, it could bring me luck?

And to those who do come to Guan Yim Theng for praying once in a while, should take note that there’s actually a few more statues over here, outside the temple and under the big tree on the left. There’s a small red hut. So do come and put your joss stick over here as a sign of respect if you have some joss stick left after putting them in all the pot in the temple.

So after praying, I went to Kepala Batas to search for the place for interview with Chien Chern, Cheong King and Ammerlynn. Then we went to KFC to have a feastful… tea time? Lol, it was suppose to be the lunch but we have it on 5.30pm, thanks to we don’t know what to eat over there.

We reach Simon’s house on around 7pm. Manchester United V.S. Chelsea in a premier league match. We watched it with HD Astro Beyond. It was so clear and Manchester United has a bad game, they lost 2-1 to Chelsea. Congratulations Ancelotti.

After the match, we played L4D on Simon’s Computer, played poker, I won RM1.40 xD

Then we went to Subaidah beside Island Plaza to have our supper before I go home.

We went to Queensbay to get our materials for hotpots. It was raining so heavily that the road outside my house flooded.

The dark clouds that obscured the sky actually scared me because it looks like as if it was going to inundate us. But anyway, we’re securely staying in the apartment together having hotpot. It is always nice to have hotpot together with old friends in an apartment when storm and fierce flashes of lightning are outside. I could really feel that it’s so warm inside.

She’s in NS now, everything is fine, except that she is in serious homesick. She’s very bored, but don’t text her until weekends because her phone is kept by the trainers now.

Sharp at lunch time, I went out of the school to have my lunch at somewhere near Jelutong. Then I went to MPPP to return my parking ticket.

As it is still too early to go back to school, I drove to e-gate’s Starbucks Coffee to surf the net and have a coffee as refreshment before going back to school.

After my class, Chien Chern again invited me to Inti to support Inti’s Talent Quest, Preliminary Round that was held in Inti’s Lecture Hall. There were some amazing performance by some of the Inti’s student. It was not only of diverse cultural and international performance but the enthusiasm and amazing talents showed by Inti’s student is simply just sensational. While some of them showed their courage, bravery and confident on stage. Some of them played instruments, singing, dancing and there were also other fabulous performances.

Some of the contestants really sing well, for example the No.1, No. 3, No.6 and other more.

This is one of my favorite because her dancing was simply attractive. My other preferred performance include No.19, a team consisting of four Indian dancers who really made their community in Inti proud with their remarkable dancing skills that truly represents Indian Culture. Besides that, contestants No.14 are one of my favorites too. They are AUP-ians who showed their energetic and skillful dancing in front of the stage that got everyone high and almost crazy. Yeah! That’s the spirit of AUP. (American University Program)

And for the instruments part, this guy is super talented with his keyboard. He is a gifted keyboard player. As his fingers danced on the keyboard, absolutely soothing music entered our ears. Great job. There’s another performance by a guitar player with his original song. He composed the song himself and it was great too. Guys and girls from HSC (Higher School Certificate) played the song of Backstreet Boy, As Long As You Love Me very well as well with their all different kinds of instruments. Wuan Xin who played the harmonica did a good job.

And then this was the performance by fellow Koreans in AUP. They showed their courage singing Korean Song with the music played by themselves. It was a nice performance. Well done Rusy and Ted, SarangHaeyo. Inti proved that they are truly deserved with the name as an International College with their great diversity of different race, religion and nationality.

And here comes my best-liked performance on the night. Michael Yew, the Inti’s King of  Pop rocked the stage with his amazing vocal, truly fantastic dancing performance and two pretty assistants. His performance was simply crazy. He awed the audience with his performance. What a great job, Michael. So that’s all for my day, I would like to thank Chien Chern for inviting me and drove me to the event.
