Cookies!

mei fen came over my place the day before yesterday to bake cookies.

The recipe that i’ve used is the recipe from design*sponge. One of my fav. site. Go and have a look at it. It’s cool and of course, interesting!

Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees C, (180 degrees C fan), at least half an hour before baking.

Cream the butter and sugar together in a food mixer or with an electric hand whisk and then add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well. Mix the baking power with the flour and add to the butter/ sugar/egg mixture until a soft dough forms.

Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for half an hour before rolling out on to a well-floured surface. Using a floured rolling pin, roll out a quarter of the dough to around 3mm of thickness and using a small sharp knife cut around the templates, placing them on to greaseproof paper on a flat baking tray.

I usually chill one tray of cookies while the other tray is in the oven as it helps them to keep their shape. Bake similar sized shapes together for approximately 6-8 minutes or until nice and brown at the edges. Bake all the larger cookies first and with the remainder of the dough re-knead, roll out and cut all the tiny shapes, baking for less time, approximately 4 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool slightly on the baking tray before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.

***recipe and photo above are copied from here.

Here are some photos that taken by us on that day:

Creaming the butter, sugar, vanila essence. And, we stiffed flour into it.

Baking…..

Voila!  Love ♥ shape! so cute! hahaha.

The cookies were yummy and i like the aroma, it has a milky smell and not too sweet. I’m not lying, everyone said that the cookies was delicious.

Try to bake by yourself, it’s easy and takes only 3 hours to do 2 large boxes of cookies. You also can bake it for your loved one. =]

Current me, seems like i really need to have a hair cut. LOL.

p/s:  i’m going to Hatyai tomorrow. ( ya, AGAIN!)

homemade nasi briyani

I cooked nasi briyani just now. hahaxD. Quite tasty and delicious. I used MAGGI Perencah Nasi Briyani to cook it. It’s fast and easy. Just fried the powder, add some water, add chicken and add the rice. It’s done !

Extra-my brother again!

My brother was ‘ki-siao-ing’. hahaxD. I love to snap him recently, because he’s the only one in house which can be my model. Quite fun when i want to take his photos. He will running all over the house and i will chase him at the back. At last, we two will scolded by mom. =]

p/s: the photos on top were so blur . =[. so lame.

it’s cooking time! – i cooked spaghetti

ding dong…it’s spaghetti! One of my favourite food! ok, i love spaghetti! By the way, how you eat spaghetti? by using a fork or a pair of chopstick? For me, it’s really fun to eat spaghetti by using a fork. Because i can roll the spaghetti with a fork, it’s the traditional way to eat spaghetti. I heard that, when we eat spaghetti with a fork, we must roll it in clockwise. Why? because they believed like that can bring good luck for us. OK, i believed that although now already 21th century…xD

Anyway, it’s not important how you enjoy your spaghetti, most important is…you enjoy it! ^^

This is the most important ingredient for me to cook my spaghetti, a can of PREGO spicy tomato spaghetti sauce.

garlic, tomato and sausage

chicken fillet!

My special ingredient! limited edition spicy chilly paste, my grandma made it.

fried all the ingredients.

~tick tock tick tock~

after ‘N’ minutes…

spaghetti is ready !

is it looks so delicious? hahaxD….of course lar, cooked by yiphing leh!

bon appétit…xD

ok, i admit that i love to act cute…^^

i am ‘leng lui phing’(pretty phing) …xD

Enjoying my spaghetti
